Aleksei Mizgiryov
Overview
Aleksey Mizgiryov is a russian writer and director. Aleksey got the philosophy degree at Tomsky State University in 1998, then graduated from VGIK in 2004, workshop of V. Abdrashitov. The third feature film “Tambourine, Drum” (2009) established him as a one of the most distinctive russian cinematographers. In 2013 Aleksey made a debut as a stage director, performing at “GOGOL-center” (2012-2022) and The Moscow Art Theatre.
