Overview
Simon Tarr is an American artist, working primarily in experimental motion picture forms. In addition to art films, his work in projections design, live media performance, and chamber cinema have been exhibited in hundreds of venues on every continent. Based in Chesapeake, Virginia, USA, he has served as a citizen-artist-ambassador for the U.S. Department of State, and has been appointed by two successive Librarians of Congress to the National Film Preservation Board.
