His visual talents have been featured in The New York Times, Good Morning America, NPR, and New York Magazine. His work has screened at notable venues such as The Roxy Cinema NYC, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Museum of Sex, and The House of Yes, and his short films have screened internationally at film festivals such as The Cannes Short Film Corner, Seattle International Film Festival, NewFest, OutFest, and Dan Savage’s HUMP Fest. Max's directorial vision is informed by his background in the visual arts and he focuses on offering diverse LGBTQ+ perspectives through his work.
