Christopher D. Robinson
Overview
Christopher Robinson is originally from New Orleans, LA where he attended the New Orleans Centre for the Creative Arts Academy for Theatre and Film. He attended Full Sail University and the Arts Institute of Pittsburgh (Digital Arts and Design). He has produced music for various organizations/schools in the U.S. and Internationally. Playwright, Composer, Orchestrator/Arranger, and all-round performer has worked on various genres of creative works with representatives from such Broadway productions as Hamilton, Bring It On! The Musical, In the Heights, School of Rock, Mrs. Doubtfire, and The SpongeBob Musical, including being selected to reimagine new orchestrations for Into the Woods (2021), Sweeney Todd (2022) in partnership with Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Stephen Sondheim/Sondheim Estate including reimagined works of Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. Robinson has worked with all levels of performers of various ages as early as his time as a student in elementary school and has been actively involved in the entertainment industry for over eighteen years. Tony and Grammy Award-winning orchestrator Alex Lacamoire is one of the many inspirational motivators that has impacted the many works produced by Robinson.
