10th April, 2004. WAI knows that WAH is involved in YAN’s disappearance, so he meets WAH to demand he release YAN. KEI informs TUNG that he is listed as a wanted person. He tries to flee, but fails. VINCENT finds out that LING has put a tapping device in his phone and suspects that she is the insider for WAH. WAH refuses to see PANG WAI and sends WUI to ask her to leave. She does not give up and makes lots of WAH’s favorite dishes to try to move him. He eventually agrees to meet her and promises to let YAN go. He forces WAI to set fire to the evidence room before he releases YAN. RITA proposes to set TUNG free if he provides her with evidence to charge WAH and KWAN, but he refuses. KWAN kills an undercover police officer MA. SAM prays for him secretly where he was killed. Apparently, SAM is also working undercover. WAI is ready to set fire to the evidence room.
