16th April, 2004. WAI demands to meet KWAN, but SAM refuses. WAI receives a message from PANG WAI and learns that she is in Thailand. KEI worries that WAH will kill TUNG, so she tries to persuade TUNG to give up the investigation, but he refuses. CHING tells PUI KEI about VINCENT’s medical condition, which leads to VINCENT being suspended, which annoys him. VINCENT finds out that CHING has contact with WAH and realises that she is his insider. WAI blackmails SAM, so that he can meet with KWAN. He proposes to kill YEUNG for KWAN, if KWAN kills WAH in exchange. KWAN finds his proposal ridiculous. RITA assists PANG WAI to look for WAI, which she is very grateful for. WAH plants some drugs in TUNG’s place. When the police chase after him, he has to shoot at FUNG. VINCENT pretends to seek co-operation with WAH, and WAH agrees without knowing that it is all a plot.
