23rd April, 2004. In order to cause strife between WAH and YING, TUNG makes WAH believe that he and YING have already planned out how to set him up. WAH falls into TUNG’s plot and tries to kill YING. WAH lies to PANG WAI saying that if WAI drops the charges against KWAN, he will leave them alone. She believes him and tries to persuade WAI to withdraw the case. TUNG still takes drugs which makes KEI and RITA sad. YING is seriously wounded. He tries to take revenge on TUNG, but dies at TUNG’s flat. PANG WAI reports to the police saying that WAI has given them false statements and a forged medical report of KWAN, which put him under investigation. VINCENT asks LING to investigate YEUNG’s background, which puzzles her. YEUNG meets with WAI. WAI admits to him that he lied about KWAN’s involvement in the assassination.… ...
