An uncompleted biopic focusing on Gregg Allman’s early struggles through the formation of The Allman Brothers Band and the group’s ultimate explosion on the music scene, based on Allman's autobiographic memoir, My Cross to Bear. Production was suspended following the death of second camera assistant Sarah Jones, when she was struck by a CSX freight train that arrived on an active railroad trestle bridge where the crew had illegally been filming.
