The Impasse
The relationship between Sasha and Vadim has reached a crisis and it seems that the spouses are connected only by discontent, embitterment and irritation. The never- ending quarrels are not even soothed by great trouble: from the summer house their son Grisha, who has overheard how grandmother and grandfather discussed the future divorce of the parents, has run away. The search for the boy leads the protagonists into the forest.
