Rotor

The film portrays a series of static objects: Wankel engines and cars, watches and armillary spheres, pianos and apples. They guard the intuitions, dreams and advances of their times, including speed, progress, the turning of the celestial bodies and the start of each summer. The motor of the Bolex H16 camera recording the objects turns and breathes life into the stories contained in them by engaging them in a very personal film essay.
