She repeatedly dreams of a bloodied figure with gardening shears. His girlfriend doesn't want to tell him her nightmare because she's convinced she'd project it onto Hugo. Hugo is adamant, however, and so his girlfriend relents. Hugo finds her story unbelievable, but only until he falls asleep and wakes up without two fingers. After another awakening from the nightmare, another part of his body is missing. Hugo decides to solve everything once and for all and goes to his girlfriend's house.
