The story is about Father Arrupe, a Jesuit priest who is unexpectedly sent to Japan as a missionary, right at the brink of World War II. However, as he ventures to the land of the rising sun to study the â€œpeopleâ€™s languages and the lifelong mission of intercultural understanding, Father Arrupe is met with challenges and a looming disaster that will forever shape his life and faith.
