Thoughts on Peace in an Air Raid

Inspired by an essay written by Virginia Woolf in 1940, describing the horrors experienced by the civilians during the London Blitz, Vyacheslav Turyanytsya paints a picture of contemporary Kyiv, as a place where the continuation of daily activity, under extreme circumstances, is in itself an act of resistance. A gentle and touching city symphony, submerged in an ominous soundscape.
