Tim White
Overview
Timothy Rhys White was an American wrestling referee and producer, best known for his work in WWE. He started in 1985 as a referee and assistant to André the Giant, and after André’s death in 1993, he became a full-time referee. He is remembered for his role in the iconic Hell in a Cell match between Mankind and The Undertaker in 1998. After suffering a shoulder injury in 2002, he retired in 2004.
In 2005, he appeared in a controversial “suicide” segment on WWE, which was widely criticized. After leaving the company in 2009, he appeared in documentaries and shows, and in 2023, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 68.
