Overview
Born Moritz Seeler (1 March 1896 – 18 August 1942) was a German Jewish poet, writer, film producer, and man of the theatre.
In August 1942, Seeler was deported by the Nazis from Berlin to Riga, Latvia along with 1,003 men, women and children who were later executed in the nearby Rumbula and Bikernieki forests.
