Kurt Bestor took piano lessons from his mother. After listening to John Williams soundtrack score to Jaws he became inspired to play music as a career. Later on he began work as a Trumpet player in Orem Utah and went to BYU college in Provo Utah to study music. He composed music for the Utah Commercial jingle ads.
