Diourka Medveczky was a Hungarian-born French sculptor, screenwriter, and film director. Medveczky ventured into filmmaking in the 1960s, directing short films such as Le Socrate (1968) and Paul (1969). He collaborated with his then-wife, actress Bernadette Lafont, who starred in his films.
