Overview
Valentino Orsini was an Italian film director and screenwriter known for his collaboration with the Taviani brothers and his solo directorial works. Born in Pisa, he began his career in theater before moving into film. Orsini co-directed Un uomo da bruciare (1962) and I fuorilegge del matrimonio (1963) with Paolo and Vittorio Taviani. He later directed films such as I dannati della terra (1969) and Corbari (1970), which often explored political and social themes. Orsini's films are recognized for their critical perspective on societal issues and their contribution to Italian political cinema.
