Laura Carreira
Overview
Laura Carreira was born in Porto in 1994. Her first short film, Red Hill (2019), won the New Visions Award at the Edinburgh Festival and was nominated for a BAFTA. Her second, The Shift (2020), premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival, and won the New Talent Award at IndieLisboa. On Falling is her first feature film.
