Rafael Van Hayden is a brazilian filmmaker, passionate about fantastic cinema.
Directed and scripted the short film Ghost Magnetic, receiving awards for best short film and best direction at Rio Fantastik Fest 2022, best editing at Fantasnoia 2021 and best horror short film at Only The Best Film Awards 2022.
Also directed the feature film Fear Is Only The Beggining, receiving awards for best documentary at Festival de Cinema de São Bernardo 2024 and Mostra Monstro 2024.
His latest short film, From Whispers to Thunder!, was selected for the Mostra Monstro 2025 and the Fictional Fantastic Cinema Exhibition 2025.
