Claudia Forestieri
Overview
Claudia is a bilingual & biracial TV writer of Dominican-Italian descent who was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Miami. Her storytelling career began in the world of news where she served as a reporter and producer for Telemundo news stations in San Francisco, Chicago and lastly, Los Angeles where she earned five local Emmys and a GLAAD Media Award for her work covering the Latino community. In 2014, she completed NBC's Writers on the Verge program and in 2017, she was selected for the HBO Access writer's program where she tapped into her newsroom experiences to create UNIMUNDO 45. In 2018, after being chosen as a Disney ABC writing program fellow, Claudia joined the writing staff of GOOD TROUBLE (THE FOSTERS spin-off). In 2019, she joined the staff of Netflix International's SELENA THE SERIES as Executive Story Editor and was promoted to Co-Producer for the show's second season.
