Overview
M.R. Srikhumrung Yukol, commonly known as 'Khunying Mangmoom' or 'Khunying Bua ' (born: October 13, 1984; Thai: หม่อมราชวงศ์ศรีคำรุ้ง ยุคล รัตตกุล) is a Thai filmmaker and distant descendant of the royal family. She is the eldest daughter of M.C. Prince Chatrichalerm Yukol, a veteran filmmaker, and Mom Kamala Yukol Na Ayutthaya. Mangmoom completed upper secondary level school at St. George's International School in Switzerland and later completed a bachelor's degree in film from Bond University in Australia, with the goal of continuing her father's filmmaking business. After graduating, she intended to inherit the film business from her family. She opened a television and film production company under the name Srikhumrung Productions Co., Ltd.. Mangmoom is married to Major General Patchara Rattakul, a retired army general who is now CEO of Haad Thip PLC, a Coca-Cola bottler in southern Thailand.
She is best known for her works, "Prisana The Series", "Rattanawadi", and "Daughters", which she remade into a series from her father's past films. For her directorial work in "Daughters," she was able to win the prestigious award "Outstanding Media of the Year 2021 in the Online Television Program Category" from the 38th Catholic Media Awards.
