Francis Smith

Overview

Was an Argentine musician and composer, who stood out for having performed several of the most popular songs of the 1970s in Argentina.

He was, in turn, the producer of the band Los Náufragos (1969), the main exponent of complacent rock, also called "hybrid", developing a dance-oriented pop rock, which was extremely popular. He composed more than 300 songs in total and in 1995 he received the SADAIC Grand Prize as the best author of popular music.
