Baga Defente is a Brazilian poet, writer and multimedia artist who uses the "poetics of chance" through a variety of mediums and languages to create experimental pieces exploring the boundaries and intersections between documentation, memory and (auto)fiction.

While his works has been showcased in more than 10 countries and has been recognized with some grants and awards, bagadefente is also the founder, publisher and creative director of NADA∴Studio Criativo, a hybrid of multimedia atelier and indie book publisher.
