In 1981, when she was in her third university year, she learned that Toei Animation would hire new recruits for the first time in 10 years, and she took the exam to become trainee director. Although she passed the exam with high marks, she was encouraged to write a script instead because the studio's policy at the time was not hiring women as directors. After that, she participated in many popular plays and continued his career steadily and successfully.
