Eddie O'Keefe
Overview
Eddie O'Keefe is a writer/director from Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago before attending the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Most recently, Quibi released his series, "When The Streetlights Go On," starring Mark Duplass and Queen Latifah, which O'Keefe executive produced and co-wrote. In 2016, he directed his first feature, Shangri-La Suite, a nineteen-seventies-set deconstructionist lovers-on-the-run movie featuring Burt Reynolds, Emily Browning, and Ron Livingston as Elvis Presley. His work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Vice, Pitchfork, Short Of The Week, Rookie and NPR. He has published three books of photography and directed music videos for artists such as Springtime Carnivore, The Orwells, JJAMZ, and Jonathan Rice.
