Overview

Will Hughes-Jones is a British production designer. He pursued his artistic education at Salisbury Art College before earning an Honours Degree in Three-Dimensional Design from Brunel University. Initially venturing into the music industry, he transitioned to television, working on music shows before moving into drama productions. His early roles in the art department included positions as a buyer and art director, eventually leading to a successful career as a production designer spanning over a decade.

Hughes-Jones' portfolio includes serving as the production designer for the 2011 adaptation of "Jane Eyre," directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska.  In television, he is best known for his work on Netflix's "Bridgerton," where he designed both the first and second seasons. His contributions to the series earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program (One Hour or More) in 2021.

His other notable television credits include "The Musketeers" for the BBC, "The White Princess" and "The Spanish Princess" for Starz, "The Alienist" for TNT, and "Small Island" for Ruby Television. He also worked on the BAFTA Award-winning miniseries "Criminal Justice" and the Royal Television Society Award-winning television movie "Storm Damage."
