Roberto Moreira
Overview
Roberto Moreira is a brazilian filmmaker and screenwriter. He's also a professor at the School of Communication and Arts (ECA) of University of São Paulo.
Moreira was awarded in the 1997 Brasilia Film Festival for the A Starry Sky screenplay, which he co-wrote with Jean-Claude Bernardet.
His first feature film, Up Against Them All, has won multiple awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress (Sílvia Lourenço) at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival; Best Director, Best Actor (Giulio Lopes), Best Production Design and the Critic Prize at the Recife Cinema Festival; and the Silver Firebird at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
