Chisco Valdés (b.1993), a visual artist and filmmaker from Guatemala based in Barcelona, actively explores the fusion of fiction and reality. His evolving work delves into social contrasts and popular culture, earning him the 1st prize for "Créame Nunca Más" during Guatemala's bicentennial independence celebration. Additionally, his work has gained recognition as a Discovery in Photo España22. Currently he's crafting his debut feature-film "Jandiman: O Yo También Soy Americano," and has been honored with selection for the Málaga Talents 2022 program. He has extensive experience in working with postproduction workflows for major and independent projects in Moonlight Barcelona.
