Overview
Lance Russell was primarily known as a sports broadcaster and ring announcer associated with wrestling promotions in the states of Tennessee and Kentucky and the surrounding area. He also worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) for several years beginning in 1989. He went into semi-retirement in 1997, and passed away on October 3, 2017 at the age of 91 due to complications from a broken hip.
