Danie began a television production company to pay for university fees. It would have been 30 years that he dedicated himself to partners, his team and the South African Television industry if he did not sell Urban Brew Studios in 2013. Urban Brew Studios was considered the most prolific independent television studios in Africa. Danie stepped out of corporate life and is following his life-long dream of going on expeditions, as photographer/cameraman, in the high latitudes and in deserts, filming, photographing and writing. An accomplished photographer, specialising in capturing the spectral domain that lies in the wild polar regions. Delving into what he believes to be his true purpose of expressing life's journey.
