Nobuyoshi Habara (jap. 羽原信義, Habara Nobuyoshi) was born June 21, 1963 in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He is an animator, character designer, animation director and director. He was in Ashi Productions (now Production Reed) until he, Shimoji Yukinao and Satou Tooru established XEBEC in 1995. He is married to fellow director and former animator Kumiko Habara (羽原 久美子, Habara Kumiko, maiden name: 伊藤, Itō).
