About
Iris Bristol
Overview
Iris Bristol was a popular pin-up model of the 50s and 60s who was born in Birmingham, England and moved to California in the mid 50s. Among men's magazines, Bristol graced the covers of and/or did pictorials in "Adam," "Beau," "Candid," "Best for Men," "Modern Man," "Parade," "Sir Knight," "Follies," "Gala," "Rogue," and "Nugget." She posed for many pictures for noted glamor photographer and adult filmmaker Russ Meyer. Her photos usually had a primitive jungle motif and often featured Iris wearing her trademark leopard print bikini. Bristol made guest appearances on episodes of the TV shows "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour," "Thriller," and "Adventures in Paradise." Moreover, Iris acted in a few nudie cutie shorts and had small parts in the movies "My Fair Lady," "The Notorious Landlady," and "Eve and the Handyman." She married actor Jeff Daley and had one child with him.
