Juan Ortiz Ceballos

Juan Ortiz Ceballos is a Colombian cinematographer living in Vancouver. Born in Bogotá, he moved to Ontario with his family, spending his early years in London before relocating to Guelph in grade 7.

At age 12 Juan received an Olympus E-500 from his parents, sparking his passion for photography. After graduating high school in 2018 he briefly studied psychology at McMaster but realized it wasn't his path. In 2022 Juan discovered his love for film and enrolled at VFS to transition his photography skills into cinematography. With several DOP credits both in and out of school, he is eager to continue growing and learning in the film industry.
