Germán Pérez-Duarte
Overview
Born in México City, German is a 21 year old filmmaker currently studying at Vancouver Film School and Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. He’s worked on many short films as writer, director and editor. Key amongst these is Rojo Guajillo (2023), a 19 minute short film which won a second place prize at Tecnológico de Monterrey’s national film festival in 2023. The short documentary he co-produced, Reencontrarse a sí misma - Retos de la viudez (2023) was also an official selection of the 2024 edition of the national film festival VIBRART.
