Overview
An Egyptian director, writer, and plastic artist, born on June 6, 1934. He obtained a BA of Fine Arts, Department of Photography in 1957. His writing debut was the movie The Impossible (1965), which he co-wrote with Mustafa Mahmoud. He is known for My Father Is Above the Tree (1969), and The Thin Thread (1971). He passed away on April 14, 2001, at age 67.
