Alan Willis
Overview
Alan Willis was born in Yiewsley, West Drayton on the 12th January 1937. During his long, and distinguished career, Alan worked on seminal Television series as a Music and Sound Editor including The Professionals, Das Boot and The Beiderbecke Connection. In 1982 he was nominated for a BAFTA for Outstanding Achievement in the Excellence in the Craft of Film Sound for Harry’s Game. In his later career, Alan worked for YTV on such beloved series as The Darling Buds of May, Heartbeat and A Touch of Frost.
