Yasmine Kassari
Overview
Yasmine Kassari (Morocco, 1970) is a Belgian-Moroccan director and screenwriter. A graduate of INSAS in Brussels, she directed several short films: "Le Feutre noir" in 1994, "Stray Dogs" in 1995, "Lynda et Nadia" in 2000.
In 2000, she directed When Men Weep. In 2004, she directed her first fiction feature entitled L'enfant endormi, with which she received several international awards, such as the audience award at the Premiers Plans festival in Angers in 2005.
