Martin Parry
Overview
Martin Parry studied cinematography at Bournemouth film school in the late eighties. After graduating in 1991 he began his career shooting pop promos and commercials for various London production companies. He has shot films in Europe, Asia and North America - worked on feature films with Dougray Scott, Rutger Hauer and Jürgen Prochnow. Martin has also worked in Hollywood shooting on the Culver City studio lot and travelled extensively filming documentaries in Vietnam and Cambodia.
In 2009 he formed a production company in Berlin with film school colleague Alex Ross. Their remit is to produce films reflecting contemporary life in the 21st century. Their first film ‘Tom Atkins Blues’ has been distributed in cinemas throughout Germany.
Martin also works as a Director/Cameraman on corporate productions in the UK
He is a skilled Steadicam operator.
