Peter Tabern is a British television producer, director and writer. After working for a number of ITV regions such as Thames Television on primarily children's and educational programming during the 1970s and 80s, Tabern formed his own independent production company, Childsplay Productions, in 1984. As head executive, he has produced the vast majority of its output.
