Rodrigo Plá
Overview
Rodrigo Plá (Montevideo, 1968) is a Uruguayan screenwriter and director. Plá studied photography, screenwriting and direction in Mexico City. In 2007 he directed La Zona (The Zone) which received the Venice Film Festival's award for best debut feature. His 2012 film The Delay was selected as the Uruguayan entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards.
