Overview

Austin transferred to USC’s School of Cinematic Arts after saving up enough tips slinging waffle cones at Baskin Robbins. Out of school, he received studio feature experience as a Director’s Assistant for David O. Russell (Joy), and Susanne Bier (Bird Box).

In addition to directing his own work for SyFy, All Def, Funny Or Die, Universal Music Group, VEVO, and Comedy Central, he has a written multiple features, with one currently in pre-produciton with Balcony 9 and Producer, Cassian Elwes.
