Aleksei K. Simonov — Soviet and Russian writer, director, human rights activist. He is the son of the famous Russian author Konstantin Simonov, who was a decorated WWII veteran turned writer and public figure in the Soviet Union.
Member of the "Council for Human Rights" under the President of Russian Federation.
Founder and president of the Glasnost Foundation in Moscow, Russia, since 1991.
