Born in 1957. After working as an animator for Studio Z and Studio Z5, he made his directorial debut with Emergency Launch Saber Kids in 1991.
His directorial work "Lupin III vs Detective Conan The Movie" released in 2013 was a big hit with box office revenue exceeding 4 billion yen.
He has been teaching at NUNOANI Juku since 2016.
