Yoel Morales (born December 22, 1989) is a Dominican film director, producer, screenwriter and editor which works includes videoclips, feature films and documentaries. He is best known for the feature films Azul Magia (2017) and Bionico's Bachata (2024) winner of the Global Audience Award at SXSW.
He is part of the Mentes Fritas film collective, which has established a reputation for portraying serious Caribbean themes from a noisy, vibrant and particularly absurd point of view.
