Robert Collison is a writer, journalist, filmmaker, and public relations professional based in Toronto. Collison has written for most major Canadian magazines and newspapers and served in major editorial roles at publications in Toronto and Vancouver. He has written, directed, and produced feature-length documentary films for the National Film Board of Canada and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and worked as a corporate communications consultant. Collison has won numerous prizes for his writing, including National Magazine Awards, the Author's Award, the Petroleum Prize, and the ACTRA Award (the precursor of the Gemini Award) for screenwriting.
