Akira Inoue
Overview
Akira Inoue is an animator with over 25 years of history in the animation industry.
In 1992 he founded Ingres, at first a small group, Ingres, consisting out of five people, in 1994 it began recruiting new staffers. The studio eventually grew much larger and was divided into two animation groups, one headed by Inoue himself and the other headed by Takuji Yoshimoto.
On April 16, 2007 the studio, which by now consisted out of two animator groups, was effectively split, with the second group under Takuji Yoshimoto, becoming a subsidiary by the name IngresA.
