Katharina Woll
Overview
Katharina Woll was born in Munich in 1984. After graduating from high school, she lived in Quito, Ecuador and assisted a German documentary filmmaker. She studied film and theater in Erlangen, Munich and Buenos Aires. Along the way, she worked on various film and theater productions (including Claus Strigel I DENKmal Film GmbH, Armin Petras I Thalia Theater Hamburg, René Pollesch I Münchner Kammerspiele). During her directing studies at the DFFB she realized several short feature films and documentaries, which were shown at numerous international festivals. In 2014 she studied for two months at Columbia University New York. Katharina currently lives in Berlin and works as a freelance director and author. In 2021 she shot her first long feature film ALLE WOLLEN GELIEBT WERDEN, which premieres at the Munich Filmfestival 2022.
