Outside, inside, nothing is moving. It's night, a man is still trying to sleep. Yesterday he received a letter, but does not want to read it. Between his dreams, the sounds of the city and the words, he lets himself float, observes. The film tells of his slow return to the outside world, everyday life and the end of the night.
