Overview
New Yorker Harriet Putnam divorces Montgomery Putnam of London and goes with her father Fordyce to Europe. In London, Harriet's apartment curtains catch fire and her screams disturb the bath of her neighbor, Lord Cardington, Earl of Pawtucket.
